Polypropylene Biaxial Geogrids

Description :


Biaxial geogrid is made of high molecular polymer Polypropylene through extrusion, forming and punching before longitudinal and lateral stretching. This material has considerable tensile strength in longitudinal and lateral directions. This chain structure can effectively bear and diffuse forces on soil and is applicable to large area permanent load bearing foundation as a reinforcement material.

 

Application:



civil engineering equipment geogrid can be used to enhancement of permanent bearable soft including highway and railways embankment, slopes, tunnel, airport, parking lots, loaded pier and ground and their main usage are as follows:
1. enhance the bearing capacity fo road foundation and extend the duration of highway.
2. prevent highway surface from collapse, crack and being dirty.
3. be convenient for construction timesaving and cut down the cost of maintenance.

4. prevent tunel from crack occuring
5. further solidity slopes to proof water and soil from losses
6. reduce the surface thickness of the ground.
7. consolidate the net for growing grass on the slopes
so as to stabilization surrounding virescence.
8. be used for artificial top net of mines instead of metal ones.

Biaxial POLYPROPYLENE GEOGRID INST ALLATION


It is almost same with above.  To excavate subgrade, setup sand liner(the difference in height is not more than 10cm), rolled it into the platform, lay the geog the vertical axis should comply with main force direction, overlap 20-30cm, bind with plastic tapes at the overlap, fixed the geogrids in the ground with U type nail every 1.5-2m on the laid geogrid, should backfill soil in time on the laid geogrids, the geogrids' layer number is according to the technical  requirements.

 

 

 

Uniaxial HDPE Geogrid

 

Description


Uniaxial geogrids are flat planar netting structure made from extrusion of high density polyethylene resin, sheeting, punching and stretching on one direction. These flexible, user-friendly geogrids are inert to biological degradation and resistant to creep, strain and naturally found chemicals. Uniaxial geogrids typically have their tensile strength in the machine (roll) direction. They are mainly used to reinforce the soil mass in a steepened slope or segmental retaining wall. On occasion, they function as a wrapping to confine the aggregate in the wire forms of welded wire faced steepened slopes.
